Parenting Curriculum - Spanish Version
I've taught a couple different types of parenting curriculum: Growing Kids God's Way, Have a New Kid by Friday, Boundaries for Kids, Effective Parenting in a Defective World, Raising Kids Who Turn Out Right, Parenting is Heart Work.
What I was challenged with this past month is a new family in our church that isn't fluent in English. The father asked me in very broken English, "We need help parenting." I'd love to guide this couple through a parenting course, but I'm not sure which one. Many of them do not have Spanish versions. I'd really appreciate any input on a good curriculum for a Hispanic couple.

Hi, I am not aware of good curriculum but almost every good book out there is available in Spanish. If you don't find an already prepared format such as a curriculum, there is plenty of Spanish information available to help them with parenting.

Pastor Bonner, Our book Good and Angry is published in Spanish. It has practical tools for daily parenting. It would be a great resource because it has both an English and Spanish book so that you can both read it and then discuss it together. It's practical, biblical, and focuses on the heart. Pastor Bonner. Actually we are going to be in your area twice in the next few months. It would be great if you could pass the word about the two seminars. One is in Red Lion on Feb 27 and is about an hour from you. The other is in New Holland on May 14-15 and is about the same distance.
