The D6 Conference in DFW

Hey guys and gals! Wanted to be sure you guys were aware of The D6 Conference in Dallas-Frisco September 23-25, 2009.

D6 stands for Deuteronomy 6:5-7. We are all about connecting parents with kids!

Guest Speakers - George Barna, Mark Matlock, Angela Thomas, Darren Whitehead, Dave Ramsey, Jim Daly (new pres. of Focus on the Family), Comedian Tim Hawkins, Fred Stoeker, Dr. Richard Ross, and many others to come.

D6 is being called by many the gathering place for the Faith at Home Movement. Hope you will join us there.

Permalink Reply by Matt Markins on November 20, 2008 at 12:10pm: Clint, this is for anyone who is responsible for ministering to families: which is ultimately Sr. Pastsor, Youth Minister, Children's minister, Family pastor, and on down the line. Churches who are registering, are registering for the key ministers they designate to go, then they are taking 2 or 3 key other lay leaders/couples in the church.

So many churches are going away from "silo based ministry" and moving to an "equipping the parents to lead the kids" model. Thus the reason why this is for all church staff...we have to get everyone on the same page. Does that make sense?

To this point, we have all titles registered: Sr. pastor, children's pastor, youth minister, family minister, SS teacher, small group leader, concerned parents, etc.
