How do you divide the kids? Where do you put kindergarteners- Elevate Jr or Elevate?

Permalink Reply by Deborah Sisco on November 16, 2008 at 11:48pm: I've been at my church for 18 months now, and for the majority of those months we've been using Elevate (Love it). We use Elevate for PowerSurge (Sunday School) and PowerUp (Kids worship). During Surge in the PowerPlant (large group auditorium) the cd is stopped after the bible story or skit, then dismiss to the Stations (small groups) After small group time, all the kids come back into the large area for PowerBreak - the time between Sunday school and worship. It's at the time, that Stations Pre-K and K arrive via our PowerSlide - a two story slide the "plugs" them into the PowerPlant. We start again at the beginning of the cd (the kids who have already seen that portion could care less - they LOVE the song and story/skit). We go through the whole cd: from the beginning to the second song. When it's small group time again, Stations Pre-K and K are dimissed back to their Stations with one of the simplier small group activities. It works wonderfully because it's only a matter of 20-25 minutes total, and they do really well. Works great of us!; ▶ Reply to This
