New to CMC. I'm the Children's Pastor at Jubilee Fellowship Church - Lone Tree. We are in the south Denver metro area. Roughly 3500 people in the church and 400-500 kids (K-5th) across 3 campuses. I head up the Children's Pastors team. Could definitely use some input on multi-site children's ministry leadership....

My name is Kirk Morgan. I'm the Kids Pastor at www.communityoffaith.tv . We run about 8-9 thousand a weekend with about 1200-1500 kids. I was just told what every kids pastor wants to hear. "Come up with some of the wildest and crazy ideas for Kids Ministry, no matter the cost". The sky is the limit!! I WANT YOUR CRAZY IDEAS PLEASE!!! No matter the cost, I'd love for you to share some dreams on drawing kids in. (Or going to the kids). Whatever. Thanks for the help friends!!

You are definitely Mega JC! Wow. So how many kids do you minister to each weekend? What challenges do you face? Are you also a multisite or one location? Our OKC campus has about 6000 attenders and about 1200 kids per week. So I imagine that campus has some of the same challenges and benefits that you experience. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Hey Jason Yon. I would love to connect with you. Are you experiencing any particular challenges? I've learned a lot the hard way and am still learning all the time! LifeChurch.tv has one solid vision and mission but we are a pretty flexible organization and we adjust our course as God leads us. I pray things are going well at your church. I'd love to hear what's up!

I am the Children's Director at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius, NC. We typically have 2800 attenders on the weekend. I guess that makes us a "mega" church. I don't feel mega, but I could sure use some input from some of you who really are MEGA

I am the LifeKIDS.tv Team Leader for LifeChurch.tv. I have the blessing of leading the children's ministry at LifeChurch.tv across all campuses. I work out of our Central Support office located in Edmond OK. We have around 27000 weekly attenders.

Hi,I am Sandy Rodery
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church
Liberty, Mo (outside of Kansas City Mo)
# of members on paper I think is over 4,000
I have been on staff in the Children's ministry about 13 years as a Director.
In those years I have gone from doing birth-6th, to 1st-6th, to now I am the 3rd-5th & 6th grade Director, as we have grown.

Hi, I'm Cynthia and I am an Associate in the Elementary Ministry at FBCW in Woodstock, GA. I work with K-2nd grade and Special Needs primarily with Sunday School. We are currently seeing around 1000+ in our elementary ministry (k-5th grade) on Sunday mornings in 3 hours of SS. I'm a little nervous about joining cmconnect. I don't even have a facebook page yet. If you send me a message and I don't respond, I probably just don't know how :)

Hi Jon,
I would recommend calling your local fire department or city permitting as those kinds of thing are regulated by codes. It doesn't hurt to allow more space, but you definitely don't want to allow too little. 30 Sq feet sounds little high to me.
