Somebody that came back from the conference told me as they were wishing me well. I sure did appreciate the fact that you guys remembered me! I saw the report you sent today and thought that was really cool! Again, thanks for the props!

I can't believe how much better I feel and am doing right now! It's just another miracle! Can't wait for 2009 to roll around so I can be back out there where I belong! Things are looking up, my friend!

Hey Karl!
How did the conference go? i really wish I could have celebrated with you! But god's timing just wouldn;t allow me to do something that big at the time. I did, however, pull off 2 back to back retreats on a smaller scale - the first one was really "iffy" and I was really rusty and worn out - but the second one went terrific! I think I am well on my way to being back! I appreciate your prayers and I appreciate the kind words you spoke over me at the conference!

Hey Karl, can't tell you how much help your Kidology site has been to me with my kids ministry. I use it all the time! Thanks for having the passion for the kids & sharing it with the world. Sure makes our job as kids pastors so much easier. By the way when are you coming to Australia? I know you were supposed to come to Kidshaper last year but couldn't make it. Hope you can come Down Under real soon. We'd make you very welcome :) Bless ya

WALL-E at the Drive In Theater

We are going to see WALL-E at a drive in theater this evening... haven't ever been to a drive-in, looking forward to it! and hoping our 2.5 year old will enjoy it. We have a convertible, so that should be nice... to bad the windshield didn't go down too!

Tough Times

I have several friends who are going through some really tough times in their ministry - several with issues with senior pastors that (knowing only one side) seem incredibly like satanic attack on the church. I know I went through a ministry years ago where there were some significant issues with the senior pastor and I just had to leave the church, and once I told him I was praying about it - things got ugly - but I had to take the high road and allow a lot of lies and distortions go unanswered… Continue
