In no particular order - I love riding in my Jeep with the top down going nowhere in particular, reading, going to the movies, watching Friday Night Smackdown with my two boys (I have bruises to prove it) and spending time with family.

Interests:

I have a really corny sense of humor, sometimes snort when laughing excessively, have a tendancy to talk too much, am a preteen at heart (in the body of a 33 year old)...and I LOVE JESUS!

Classic Rock and whatever else is on my wife's iPod.

My journey...

About 11 years ago I launched a preteen ministry (4th-6th graders) from scratch. I was a young, single 20-something with a dream of changing the world!

Graduated from Seminary.

Got married and had three kids really quick! They are now 7, 5 and 3 years old.

Struggled with balancing family and ministry. Church was up to 8 weekend services. Hurricane Katrina hit. I needed a break from full-time ministry, so I quit and transitioned into a job selling office equipment.

Wanted to be a resource to those doing preteen minisry, so I created PreteenMinistry.net. On the website are group games, PowerPoint games, lessons using video clips from current movies, events and tons more! Weekend series are coming soon and there are tons of other ideas on the drawing board.

Took a break doing any kind of ministry outside of building/creating PreteenMinistry.net. Needed to detox for awhile.

I just accepted a Childre's Pastor position in San Diego, CA and will be moving there the first week in August! I am pumped about going back into full-time ministry!
