It's Friday AGAIN!

Here it is Friday again! The weather is beautiful here in Springfield, MO. It is a superb fall day!!!

But as I sit here thinking about the statement I just made about it being Friday AGAIN, I can't help but think how quickly time flies. I know that sounded very cliche but it is all too true. With each day that passes, we are one day closer to standing before an awesome, wonderful, phenomenal, fearsome, amazing and any other adjectives you would like to add - GOD. For those of us that operate in… Continue

Enduring Faith

I have so many things to write about, so many ideas swirling in my brain. My thoughts, however, go directly to why that is the case. You see, I have been in ministry for going on 30 years now and God has showered me with so much. Sometimes, I feel I just cannot contain all He is doing. It has not been an easy 30 years and way too many of those years have been just plumb difficult. And I know my journey through the difficult is not yet over because I have so much left to learn. But those roads do… Continue

Thank you for the welcome. I know it is a little late in coming. When I signed up I was jut getting my feet wet as the new Children's Ministries Director. Had no idea how much was involved. I am loving it and doing a much better job at organizing my time. Glad I can finally take advantage of this site.

Hi Patti!

Do you work at GPH, or headquarters? Resource specialist sounds fun. Do you also have any connection with people from the CMA or CE Dept, or the webdevelopers?

Hi Patti, I already have a question, is the new sunlight curriculum replacing the old nursery kit curriculum (I forgot the name) or is something different? Thanks!

Hey! Patti,

Hope you are having a fantastic day! I'm just finishing mine here in Detroit. Say do you know how to list things on here to sell. One of the children's pastors in our area mentioned a place on here under small groups I think- to list items for salel.....could you direct me to that? Thanks. Got some curriculum, preschool equipment, and Rangers & Missionette items to list. Thanks.

Hey Patti, just wanted to let you know that we are enjoying High Point but have added "Workshops" to the end of it like in the Mega Ministry Camp curr. I appreciate the 5th week idea but wish there were more helps for workshops. Workshops bring the kids into meaningful small groups with leaders who have limited prep time. We do a video/drama workshop, a Lego story workshop, a cooking workshop and a JBQ workshop that all relate to the Virtues we are studying.
Have a great day!
