I'm strict.
I recently revisited this issue and landed on sticking with our promotion policy being standard for all children. (Policies are meant to empower us, not oppress us, however! If it actually advanced the vision of our ministry to make an…
Willow Creek (Promiseland) has one. It's "Making It Connect: Genesis through Revelation". It covers all the stuff you mentioned and then some. Good basic overview. I found that a few of the lessons seemed like a lot of filler, but it does provide a…
My church is in a town in Alberta, Canada. On a typical Sunday we have 400-450 adults and 150-200 kids (0-12). We're just beginning to track "regular attenders" which we would define as 3/4 Sundays per month. I don't have those stats yet.
I love it! And I have done this often with my kids! It started when our church went through the purpose driven life. I wanted my kids to be involved in it, so I wrote a 40 Day journal on the same topics as the adults - but with stories for the kids…
Our Big Church people go over Sunday's communication during Wed night Small Groups. We tried that in Childrens' Church on Wed nights as well. The pastor would send out a Word file with discussion starters to all Small Group leaders and I would look…

Great insight about the initial decision about whether or not they even need to learn the same thing. This year, my SP and I are selecting 3 sermon series to align. We want to try it and see if it assists f…
I would definitely talk to the Children's Ministry Leaders at Community Christian Church in Naperville, IL. They're lead pastor, Dave Ferguson, wrote a book called the Big Idea which is mostly about the adult service and how they stick to one big id…

Hi Tiesha,
Very possible...I have spoken many times for Willow at conferences and training events and I never know what they take to put on other resource materials...What was the name of the MP3? Was it a CD you recieved in the mail?
Not that I know of! However, Schmuland is my married name, so I'm not familiar with all the relatives. Schmuland is not the most common name, though, is it?
